Overview DailyAdventure (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What We Collect

• Anonymous device identifier — automatically assigned when you first open the app. No name, email, or personal info required.
• Birthday (month and day) — entered during onboarding, used to personalize adventure suggestions.
• Adventure activity — which adventures you complete, skip, or save.
• Bucket list data — adventures you plan, costs, and target dates you enter.
• Savings entries — amounts you log toward your goals.
• Streak and progress data — your daily streak and completion history.
• Contest entries — if you enter the annual Vacation Giveaway, your entry is stored in our database.
• Purchase history — subscription purchases processed through the App Store or Google Play.
• Photos — only if you choose to capture or upload them in the app.
• Location — only if you grant permission, used to find nearby adventures. Never stored or sold.
• Calendar — only if you grant permission, used to suggest free-time adventures. Read-only.
• Advertising identifier (AD_ID) — used by analytics and fraud prevention services. See Third-Party Services below.

How We Use Your Data

• To personalize adventure recommendations.
• To back up your bucket list and savings data securely in the cloud (Firebase / Google).
• To maintain your streak and progress across app restarts.
• To display badges and achievements you have earned.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Third-Party Services We use the following services:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, cloud storage, analytics, and crash reporting. Google Privacy Policy applies.
• RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management. Uses advertising ID for analytics and fraud prevention. RevenueCat Privacy Policy applies.
• Google Places API — finds nearby attractions using your location.
• Ticketmaster — finds local events near you.
• Viator — finds local experiences and activities near you.

We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising.

Data Storage Your data is stored:

• On your device (local app storage) for fast, offline access.
• In Firebase Firestore (Google Cloud) as a cloud backup.
• Photos you upload are stored in Firebase Storage.

Data is stored in the United States on Google infrastructure.

Data Deletion You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time:

Option 1 — In the app (instant): Open DailyAdventure → Settings (⚙️) → scroll to Data → tap “Delete Account & All Data” → confirm.

Option 2 — By email: Email info@dailyadventureapp.com with the subject “Delete My Account”. We will process your request within 30 days.

What gets deleted:

• Your Firebase anonymous/Google account
• Your bucket list, savings history, and adventure streaks stored in the cloud
• Any photos you uploaded to your bucket entries

What is retained:

• Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics data
• Purchase records are managed by Apple or Google and must be cancelled through their respective platforms

Children’s Privacy DailyAdventure is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your Rights

• Access — you can view all your data within the app.
• Deletion — uninstall the app or contact us to delete your cloud data.
• Portability — your data is stored in standard formats.
